Naomi Ching

Founder & CEO

Hi everyone! My name is Naomi Ching, and I am a senior at Steveston London Secondary School. Establishing YNS has truly been a large aspect of my life and shaped it into what it is today; from the ineffable impact and relationships we have all made, and the many more projects to come, YNS has always been an outlet that allowed me to give back to my community. Starting out as an online tutoring service as a COVID relief project, to a youth platform to cater a larger audience, all happened within a blink of an eye; but I am forever grateful for all our volunteers, executives, partners, and youths for making this possible.

Megan Wu

Hey there! My name is Megan Wu and I am from J.N. Burnett Secondary School. Youth Network Society is not only something that has allowed me to give back to my community but also provided me with the opportunity to connect to more individuals within our community. Creating YNS was an exciting experience and I am excited to see everything we can accomplish together!

Hi, this is Alicia Chan, a senior student from Steveston-London Secondary School. I am very glad to be part of the YNS community as YNS has provided a platform for us with different passions and strengths to work together and contribute to society by doing things we enjoy. I am a photographer and a filmmaker, and I want to tell stories and inspire people through my lens.

Hi I’m Rita and I’m 16. I go to A.R. Macneill Secondary as a grade 11 student, and I am the head of the Volunteer and Opportunities Department. I joined YNS to make an impact in the community, and I’m planning on being a forensic criminologist.

Hi, my name is Tianna Chang and I am currently in my senior year of high school at Burnaby Mountain Secondary. I look forward to studying Kinesiology to eventually become a physiotherapist. I am the YNS Events Coordinator, and plan events such as our Shoreline Clean-up!
